Lifetime Collective is teaming up with Jude Feller, renowned designer and owner of lily+jae, on a women’s collection set to launch for Spring/ Summer 2012. This season will herald the independence of the women’s line from the men’s line, bringing Lifetime women a unique new collection to express their individuality in. The Spring/Summer 2012 collection is inspired by the delicate art of growing up from a tomboy into a lady. It allows Lifetime women to pay homage to their days of running with the boys while embracing a whole new world of fashion and feminine style. The imperfect balance of light, flirty palettes and warm, hardy textures create a unique collection with a fresh feeling. “I wanted to focus on the independent spirit of the Lifetime woman,” says Jude. “The wide range of pieces in this collection give her the creative freedom to cultivate a fresh identity that’s all her own.” The Lifetime woman will be just as comfortable in the bonded fleece, cropped Striped Frankie sweater as she is in the sweet floral print Paige dress. The collection features tomboy and girly elements that find peace in floral, stripes, and mini houndstooth prints. Soft, draped touches add the right amount of femme to oversized summer jackets and versatile printed pants. Contemporary striped designs give fleece and textured sweaters a sense of direction. She is a wanderer, a dreamer set free.
